Loeries 2014 taking Flight in the Mother City

As a build up to The Loerie Awards, Cape Town will become a “village in the city” once again with Loeries Creative Week touching down in the World Design Capital.

In celebration of fresh thinking, creatives from across the continent will be flocking to the Mother City for Loeries Creative Week Cape Town, an annual series of events taking place ahead of the coveted awards. From 15 – 21 September 2014, the multi-event will see over 4000 members of the brand communication industry coming together to network, inspire and share knowledge around creative communication.

Coming in fashionably late is The Loerie Awards at the end of the week, from 20 – 21 September 2014. The brand communication awards, in its 36th year, will be crowning some of the top innovators in various industries. These include television, radio and print, as well as communication design, direct marketing, PR, non-broadcast video, live events, sponsorship, digital communication and integrated campaigns. The Loeries is a year-round focus on creative inspiration. Through several activities that take place during the year, it aims to help marketers, agencies and consumers appreciate the value of ideas, whilst highlighting the value that creativity adds to our brands and economy.

This year marks the 6th time Cape Town plays host to the awards.
