The Lumineers Cape Town Concert

Ho Hey! The Lumineers are on their way! As a lover of folk rock, we’re sure you already knew that. What you probably didn’t know is that Rikkis is the taxi partner for the Cape Town event.

Let Rikkis take you there…

That’s right! We, together with Sport24hrs, are making it easier to rock and roll on over to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for The Lumineers in concert. On 4 and 5 December, grab your banjos and give Rikkis a call on 0861RIKKIS for a hassle free journey to the much-anticipated event. And with “Sharing is caring” as our motto, our taxis can even stop at your friends’ houses so you can split the fare amongst each other – a perfect reason to start a Lumineers sing-along on the way.

The Lumineers in Concert

Brought to you by Seed Experiences, Virgin Mobile and 5FM, Grammy-nominated folk band The Lumineers will be touching down on Cape Town’s Kirstenbosch Gardens for two days of musical magic. And what location could be more rustic than in a lush, national garden? Revellers can look forward to doing a do-si-do while members of the quintet strum on their old banjos and the grass squishes between their toes.

About the Band

Just in case you didn’t know – the band, made up of Wesley Schultz, Jeremiah Fraites and Neyla Pekarek, got their first taste of success with the release of their 2012 self-titled debut album – The Lumineers. It would later propell them to international fame, selling over 1 million copies and over 3.5 million single downloads around the world with ‘Ho Hey’ taking the lead. This will be The Lumineers’ debut concert in Cape Town.
